Upcoming City Council Meeting: May 19, 2025

May 15, 2025

The next City Council meeting is Monday, May 19, at 7:00 PM. We’re sharing a preview of the meeting, but you can view the full agenda and packet at berkleymi.gov/councilagendasminutes.

This meeting includes matters of approving several upcoming summer events (the Berkley Street Art Fest, the Berkley Art Bash, and the Berkley Pride Block Party) as well as considering the first reading for an amendment to the Planned Unit Development (PUD) that was previously approved for a multiple-family development on the east side of Coolidge Highway, south of Cambridge Road and north and south of Columbia Road.

The public hearing for our 2025-2026 budget will also take place at Monday’s meeting, and Council will vote to approve resolutions to adopt the budget and Capital Improvement Plan, and to set the upcoming fiscal year’s residential/commercial service fees for solid waste collection and rates for water and sewer services. The draft budget document is available by clicking here and reflects minor updates after April’s budget work sessions.
