Consideration of Joinder Agreement to the Health Services Agreement with Marathon Health and the MilLife Health Clinic Consortium Interlocal Agreement.
City Manager Crystal VanVleck gave context on what the Marathon Health MiLife Health Clinic Consortium is, and why the City will join it. The Consortium is an established partnership between five surrounding communities to provide primary healthcare options for participating employees and their dependents through a direct contract with Marathon Health. The program emphasizes accessible primary healthcare services that help mitigate preventable health issues early, helping to reduce costs to the City long term.
Manquen Vance founder Mark Manquen was also present to answer questions about the agreement. He hopes to have memberships ready in the Marathon Health system within 30-40 days for their services to be available to participating City employees.
More information on what services the Marathon Health MiLife Consortium provides is also available from the presentation given in the February 23, 2026 meeting.
Public Hearing and Resolution for the Vacation of an Alley covering the Northerly 18 feet of lots 39-49 in the Ellwood Heights Subdivision.
Community Development director Kristen Kapelanski explained that in their goals to expand their business, Mug & Jug realized that a portion of the property they would want to expand into was designated as an alley owned by the City. Vacation of the alley allows the City to make steps toward the applicant being able to achieve this goal.
