Yard Waste & Leaf Pickup Service

Curbside Leaf Collection

CURBSIDE LEAF COLLECTION BEGINS OCTOBER 1, 2025

ONLY leaves may be raked to the curb in neat rows from October 1 through November 30. You may also bring bags of leaves to the Community Center parking lot (2400 Robina) to dispose of them in a designated dumpster.

Do not place sticks, twigs, or any other yard debris (including pumpkins and straw/hay bales) in the street.

What do I do with my leaves and yard waste after yard waste season ends?
Yard waste season will end the week of December 19, and a drop-off site will be available in the parking lot of the Community Center (2400 Robina) to dispose of your leaves and yard waste during the off-season.

How do I manage my yard waste during yard waste season?
You can place yard waste in bags or cans at the curb on your regular trash pickup day. Leaves can be raked directly to the street for collection during leaf pickup season, starting October 1.

Yard Waste/Compost

Yard waste tags are not required for the 2025 curbside yard waste season! Starting the week of April 7, 2025, through mid-December, simply place your yard waste in paper bags or cans at your curb before 7 AM on your trash pickup day. Bags and cans cannot be more than 32 gallons and 50 pounds, and cans must be clearly labeled “YARD WASTE” or “COMPOST”. Plastic bags containing yard waste will not be collected.

Yard waste includes grass, leaves, shrubbery cuttings, vines, rose bushes, roots, stumps, and sticks. If you have branches larger than 4 feet long and 2 inches in diameter, you should place them at your curb for chipper service. Chipper service happens on a bi-weekly basis throughout the entire city, and you must place materials at the curb before 7 AM every other Monday starting on April 7.
