The City of Berkley will roll back in time for its annual CruiseFest Classic Car Parade on August 14, 2026, at 6:30 PM. For more than 25 years, the Berkley CruiseFest has brought car enthusiasts of all ages to Downtown Berkley for a summer evening filled with vintage automobiles, delicious food, and community connection on 12 Mile.

With a variety of activities planned after the parade, this free event has something for everyone! This year’s lineup includes:

  • Classic Car Parade at 6:30 PM, traveling west on 12 Mile from Woodward Ave. to Ellwood Ave.

  • THE SANDLOT starting at 7:30 PM, in front of the Neighbor’s Shoppe at 2833 12 Mile.

  • Live music from Bandwagon starting at 7:30 PM, located at the corner of Robina Ave. and 12 Mile.

Road Closure and Parade Route Details

Road Closures:

Heads up, Berkley! Here are the road closures and parking restrictions you should expect throughout town from Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16. Detour signs will be posted in all cases.

  • 7 AM: “No Parking” and detour signs will be placed on miscellaneous side streets in advance, with enforcement starting at 7 AM on 8/14**
  • 12PM:
    • 12 Mile intersections of all side streets between Woodward and Greenfield close at 12 PM on 8/14*
    • 12 Mile and Greenfield intersection will close at 12 PM on 8/14
  • 5PM:
    • Coolidge closed from Morrison to Catalpa at 5 PM on 8/14*
    • 12 Mile closed from Woodward to Greenfield at 5 PM for Classic Car Parade on 8/14
    • Rosemont Municipal Parking Lots will close at 5 PM on 8/14
  • 6:30PM: Classic Car Parade travels down 12 Mile from Woodward to Greenfield starting at 6:30 PM on 8/14
  • After Parade:
    • 12 Mile open from Greenfield to Buckingham for local traffic only after parade on 8/14*
    • 12 Mile open from Woodward to Coolidge after parade on 8/14
    • Southbound Coolidge between Morrison and Catalpa will open after the parade on 8/14

Parade Route

The Classic Car Parade will travel down 12 Mile from Woodward to Ellwood starting at 6:30 PM. During the parade, there will be temporary traffic restrictions to help everything move smoothly. These restrictions are for the duration of the parade only, and will not impact the rest of the evening:

  • Cars cannot turn off of Greenfield onto Edwards or Morrison
  • Cars cannot park on the East side of Ellwood

Registration has now closed for the 2026 CruiseFest Classic Car Parade. For those hoping to register next year, keep an eye on this page for updates. Reminder: all cars must be from 1979 or older!
