The City of Berkley will roll back in time for its annual CruiseFest Classic Car Parade on August 14, 2026, at 6:30 PM. For more than 25 years, the Berkley CruiseFest has brought car enthusiasts of all ages to Downtown Berkley for a summer evening filled with vintage automobiles, delicious food, and community connection on 12 Mile.

With a variety of activities planned after the parade, this free event has something for everyone! This year’s lineup includes:

  • Classic Car Parade at 6:30 PM, traveling west on 12 Mile from Woodward Ave. to Ellwood Ave.

  • Outdoor movie starting at 7:30 PM, in front of the Neighbor’s Shoppe at 2833 12 Mile.

  • Live music from Bandwagon starting at 7:30 PM, located at the corner of Robina Ave. and 12 Mile.

Registration

Registration is now available for the 2026 CruiseFest Classic Car Parade. If you'd like to join the Berkley community and show off your classic car on Friday, August 14, at 6:30 PM, please call the Parks and Recreation department at 248-658-3470 or fill out the registration form below. All cars must be from 1979 or older!

Road Closure and Parade Route Details

Road Closures:

  • 12 Mile Road will be closed from Woodward to Greenfield, and Coolidge will be closed at 12 Mile Road beginning at 6 PM. The CruiseFest Classic Car Parade will begin at 6:30 PM (heading westbound, starting at Woodward and ending at Ellwood just before Greenfield).
  • Following the parade, 12 Mile Road from Woodward to Coolidge and the intersection of 12 Mile Road and Coolidge will reopen once the end of the parade has crossed Coolidge (approximately 8 PM).
  • 12 Mile Road will remain closed from Coolidge to Buckingham (and all side streets between Coolidge and Buckingham at 12 Mile Road) until approximately midnight for the CruiseFest event festivities.

Parade Route

The Classic Car Parade will travel down 12 Mile from Woodward to Ellwood starting at 6:30 PM. During the parade, there will be temporary traffic restrictions to help everything move smoothly. These restrictions are for the duration of the parade only, and will not impact the rest of the evening:

  • Cars cannot turn off of Greenfield onto Edwards or Morrison
  • Cars cannot park on the East side of Ellwood
