What Is the CruiseFest Ad Hoc Committee?
The Woodward Dream Cruise - CruiseFest Ad Hoc Committee, composed of community volunteers and City of Berkley department leaders, is responsible for the overall planning and execution of CruiseFest activities. For more than 20 years, on the 3rd weekend in August, CruiseFest events, sponsored by the City of Berkley are held in conjunction with the Woodward Dream Cruise.
CruiseFest activities are typically held on 12 Mile Road, from Woodward Avenue to Greenfield. Event patrons can enjoy the CruiseFest Classic Car Parade along with street vendors and other entertainment.
Volunteers are an essential component of the successful execution of the CruiseFest, especially the Classic Car Parade. Committee members, all Berkley residents, are appointed by the City Council each year.
