Overnight Street Parking
Information
Our overnight parking policy prohibits on-street parking (including municipal lots) from 2-5 AM, with the exception of residents or business owners with annual parking permits.
We know that there are some cases where residents can’t park a car in their driveway, whether it’s too small or nonexistent. You can apply for an annual overnight parking permit if you have a demonstrated need to park your car in the street overnight.
Similarly, business owners with parcels directly adjacent to a municipal parking lot can purchase an annual overnight parking permit to park up to two vehicles in that lot. The money collected from the permit purchases will be used to enhance, maintain, and expand public parking in the City.
Residential permits (on-street) cost $400 annually ($200 if purchased after May 1) and business permits (municipal lot) cost $600. The revenue raised from permit sales is used to cover the cost of the program and to enhance, maintain, and expand public parking, including on-street parking.
